Transits

The transiting movement of the planets and how they affect worldly affairs can be illuminated by observing the I Ching hexagrams that they move through. As each planet moves through the zodiac by degrees, they also move through the lines of the I Ching hexagrams.

Level 2 correspondence works best with transits, because it give the hexagram line of the degree it is in and also gives a second hexagram that further elaborates the line of the first hexagram.

This can easily translate into implications for the world.

The planet in the degree picks up the influence, and then each person, country, or even business has a relationship to that planet in that degree in that hexagram. We always have the choice to improve matters or make them worse, or perhaps to just leave them be. But the results and value of our action will be seen in the hexagrams implied. This will be according to the nature of the planet being considered.

The tables in this section give the transiting positions of Pluto, Neptune, Uranus and Saturn. These are the slower moving outer planets. They have a more noticeable effect in the affairs of the word.
